Thai (yoga) massage is an therapeutic energy-based treatment. My practice focuses on the whole person and getting to the root causes of any ailments or issues you may have.
Thai massage uses a combination of rhythmic pressure along the energy lines and gentle passive (you don’t have to do anything other than relax!) stretches to relax and open your body.
A Thai massage treatment is traditionally 2 hours, giving you time to really let go and for me to spend extra time on any areas of need. The massage takes you on a journey through your body, inviting you to increase awareness and breath into any areas of tension – or numbness. Many clients find that the treatment brings a calm and helps to quieten the mind and increase bodily connection/sensation, which brings about a more grounded, calm and centred presence in daily life.
Every treatment is unique and tailored to your needs. Thai massage is gentle and the pressure and stretches will be sensitive; mindful touch responds constantly to each contact with your body.
Thai massage opens the body, helps restore balance and a healthy flow of energy, which can both help the body to heal and prevent future dis-ease.
Benefits can include:
- Relaxation: more presence in your body, reduce stress and calm your mind.
- Balance energy by releasing blockages.
- Increased awareness of your needs for future self care.
- Increase flexibility and tone.
- Detox and boost the immune system.
- Deeper, healthier breathing
- Stronger posture
- Improved functioning of the nervous, digestive, circulatory, excretory and respiratory systems.

“The massages have been a truly wonderful experience every single time I’ve had them. Having a Thai massage is extremely enjoyable and satisfying – both on the physical as well as the mental level. I’m so glad to have experienced it. I always feel so much better, much more relaxed, lighter and more balanced than before a session. I would highly recommend Thai massages.”
